More Bread and Puppet Photos

Return trip to Glover, VT over Memorial Day weekend 2009. I first visited Bread and Puppet back in 1998, when they still had their annual festival.

The nice thing about documenting the place exhaustively last summer is that I got to have fun experimenting this time around.

The following pix show that sometimes your subject matter is so compelling that all you have to do is focus and crop!

The museum is photographer friendly and the staff is very knowledgable about the hsitory of the organization. It's definitely worth the road trip.

New Photos

I "divorced" my final gallery (Sharon Arts Center) last week, picking up photos that had been in storage for a few years there. After finding "good homes" for the framed pieces, it dawned on me how much I missed shooting.

Mindblowing News re. Smithsonian Photo

My Smithsonian Magazine photograph was chosen for display in the upcoming exhibit, "World View: Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest."

The exhibit will showcases 30 of the 50 finalists from Smithsonian Magazine’s 6th Annual Photo Contest. It will be on view from July 1, 2009 through January 16, 2010 in the first floor of the Smithsonian Castle on the National Mall in Washington, DC.

Last year, more than one million visitors viewed the magazine's previous exhibit, and Smithsonian predicts that a million more will view my image this year.

It's still SO surreal......
